I am passionate about empowering others to acheive the health and life they want; and have been practicing as a therapist since 2011.

I started out initially using my Psychology MSc in statistics withing the NHS before retraining as a Hypnotherapist.

Overcoming my own challenges such as anxiety, trauma, insomnia, chronic pain and bereavement allows me to empathise with those that I help. Further, I recently healed from over 25 years of chronic pain; and this has taught me so much about the effects of adverse childhood experiences, stress, trauma and the mind-body link. I combine the power of hypnotherapy, mindfulness techniques, and psychology principles to guide you towards long-lasting relief and improved well-being.

My approach goes beyond simply treating the symptoms. I delve deep to ask not just what your symptoms are, but to ask "what happened to you?" I believe in finding the root causes of your discomfort, which may involve the past, perhaps even childhood experiences, to allow deep healing, not just superficial short term alleviation.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness meditation is about being fully aware of whatever is happening in the present moment, without filters or the lens of judgement. It is not just meditation.

It can reduce stress, anxiety and also help depression.

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy

How you think, feel and behave affect each other. In CBT we create change by changing the way you think and behave to help change how you feel.

Psychological tools

I keep abreast of recent research surrounding Psychology and also general wellbeing, so I can apply effective tools to help you change.

Hypnotherapy

In hypnotherapy we use Hypnosis to access the subconsious mind and to bring about change. There are different approaches to hypnotherapy and you can learn more about my approach here.
